CATDOLL: The calligraphy manga "Suzuri High School Calligraphy Club" has been serialized for nine years and ends today

The calligraphy manga "Suzuri High School Calligraphy Club" created by Katsutoshi Kawai has reached its final chapter in "Big Comic Spirits No. 16" (published by Shogakukan) released today, bringing the nine-year serialization to an end!

The manga "Suzuri High School Calligraphy Club" was first serialized in the manga magazine "Weekly YOUNG SUNDAY" (published by Shogakukan) in 2006. After the suspension, it was transferred to "Big Comic Spirits" and has continued to this day. The work tells the story of a young boy named Oe who was deceived by his seniors in school and joined the calligraphy club. There he met the girl Mochizuki Yuki who is good at sports and many people with different personalities. In the winter of 2010, Japan's NHK General Channel also broadcast a TV series adapted from this manga.

The editorial department of "Big Comic Spirits" stated that the final 14th volume of the comics is expected to be released at the end of May. In addition to the chapters during the serialization period, it will also include special short stories.
