CATDOLL: The Japanese government will open voice actor/animation schools around the world

I don't know if you have recovered from the bombardment of various heavy news thrown by Tencent at the Tencent Interactive Entertainment UP Annual Conference yesterday. It seems that the whole society is increasingly aware of the important economic value contained in the cultural industry and its impact on the country's comprehensive national strength. China is striving to catch up. As the leader of the global animation industry, Japan is of course also continuing to make efforts. Affected by the low birth rate, all walks of life in Japan are facing the danger of talent shortage. How to continue to spread their own culture under such circumstances? The Japanese government has come up with a good idea: Cool Japan, an organization dedicated to conveying Japanese animation, comics and fashion to the world, has joined hands with Kadokawa Group to open voice actor/animation production schools in 12 countries and regions centered on Asia to cultivate overseas talents for Japanese ACG . It seems that Japan will not only rely on itself to spread its own animation culture this time, but also rely on fans around the world who are influenced by Japanese animation and want to join in. This move is really smart!

Cool Japan is an organization jointly established by the Japanese government and Japanese private companies. Its purpose is to spread Japan's unique ACG culture and ACG fashion to the world. Among the main investors of Cool Japan, in addition to the Japanese government, there are also Japanese super-large companies such as Dentsu, Bandai Namco, Fuji TV, and Sumitomo Mitsui Bank as support. This time, Cool Japan has brought in Kadokawa Group to establish professional voice actor/animation production training centers in twelve countries centered on Asia. Kadokawa Group will invest 450 million yen (23.31 million yuan) to realize this plan. As for the reason for setting up voice actor/animation production training centers, it is to make Japanese ACG works better localized and better spread locally, and also make up for the shortage of Japanese ACG talents. According to the plan, these professional training centers will train 5,000 qualified graduates in 2020. These graduates will be an important cornerstone for Japanese ACG manufacturers to enter overseas markets in the future. At present, Kadokawa has opened professional mobile game painter courses in Taiwan, China. I don’t know whether Kadokawa will also open related professional training centers in mainland China in the future.
