CATDOLL: What is coming will come. Attack on Titan will be adapted into a TV series

It is not uncommon for popular anime or games to be adapted into film and television works in Japan, but the plot and character creation are often unsatisfactory. "Attack on Titan" is a popular film nowadays, and similar to "Parasyte", it has launched a live-action movie, divided into two parts, which was released on August 1, 2015, and the second part is scheduled for September 19.

In addition, at a press conference held at the Maihama Theater in Chiba today, the official announcement of the production of the TV series of "Attack on Titan" was made. The TV series will be starred by Satomi Ishihara, and the rest of the cast will be the same as the movie version, including Nami Sakuraba, Hide Watanabe, Rina Takeda, Ayame Mizusaki, etc. Of course, the TV series will add a new character, played by Yuta Hiraoka.

The production team is the same as the movie version, and is supervised by Shinji Higuchi.

The show will be exclusively broadcast from August on "dTV," a new subscription-based video service launched by docomo's "dVideo" on the 22nd of this month.
