I really haven't changed at all

——Thank you for your hard work. First, let me tell you my thoughts after finishing today's recording.

Uchida Aya: Today's interview was with me alone, and it was recorded in video. Although I felt very nervous, it was fresh and fun overall! However, since there were so many things to say, I'm afraid it will be difficult for the staff to summarize them... It's really difficult to convey some things in person (laughs).

——As you said, many questions were asked in the program. So what was the one that impressed you the most?

Uchida Aya: The topic that impressed me the most was the topic about how I felt I had grown since becoming a voice actor. This was also the topic that made me re-examine myself and my view on the profession of "voice actor". When I talked about these topics with others, I felt "Is that so? I really think so" and reaffirmed myself. My feelings really didn't change at all.

Being able to work with someone you admire, life is so unpredictable!

——In the collection, you mentioned your idol, Ogata Megumi, which left a deep impression on us. Is the animation work you co-starred in "Amazing Twins"?

Uchida Aya: That's right. In particular, the character I played in the work, "Tadoki Amane", also happened to admire the character "Messiah Lady" played by Mr. Ogata. As mentioned before, this setting is very similar to the relationship between me and Mr. Ogata (laughs). At that time, I was really happy in my heart. It was simply fate.

——They are indeed very similar (laughs). So have you appeared in any works with Mr. Ogata recently?

Uchida Aya: Yes, there is the game "Danganronpa: Another Episode". In the work, I played the role of "Naegi Makoto", the younger sister of the character played by Ogata-sensei, "Naegi Komaru". The "Danganronpa" series is a work that Ogata-sensei has always attached great importance to. I am really grateful to be able to play her sister, and the protagonist. I was very moved when I decided to play her. What made me even happier was that Ogata-sensei later sent me a message saying, "I'm glad that we can play close roles together again. Please give me more advice."

——It is truly an incredible experience to be able to work with someone I have admired since childhood.

Uchida Aya: I want to accumulate more experience and eventually grow to the level where I can participate in programs for children!

Uchida Aya: I've loved playing with children since high school, and I've even been a volunteer (laughs). And it's the same in animation. My dream is to be able to appear in a program that children love to watch or to voice a children's animation! I would definitely be happy if I could participate in any form one day!
