CATDOLL: Light novelist Maki Orange apologizes for tax evasion of 30 million

Previously, we reported that Daisuke Umezu (pen name: Maki Orange), the author of fantasy novels such as Log Horizon and The Devil's Hero, was suspected of tax evasion of 30 million yen. Although he did not give an answer when interviewed by Japanese media at the time, Daisuke Umezu has now published an announcement on his official website.

According to the published announcement, the author has completed the subsequent correction report and tax payment procedures, and the National Tax Bureau's investigation has also ended. In addition, Daisuke Umezu also apologized to the readers and related personnel.
