CATDOLL: A new 3D film project based on Guo Jingming's novel "Lord of the Thrones" is launched

Guo Jingming has made new moves recently. On April 16, he announced through Weibo that the film project of "Jade Dynasty" has officially started. He also released the first concept poster and it is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2016.

"Jade Dynasty" is a commemorative novel of Guo Jingming's tenth anniversary of his debut in 2010. It once set a record for the number of novels printed in mainland China. The novel itself is still being serialized. As another best-selling book directed by Guo Jingming, in order to better show "Jade Dynasty", the film will be presented in 3D, and once again brought to the big screen by the author himself.

Different from the style of the previous "Tiny Times" youth series movies, "Lord of the Rings" is more grand and complex. How to bring the fictional and huge Odin continent to the screen and present many characters in a movie of 100 minutes without compromising the charm of the original work is a test of the director's ability. In the concept posters revealed so far, the copywriting of "Legend of Ravaging Dynasties" foreshadows: the destruction of a legendary dynasty. The lion and bird in the poster represent soul beasts, the portal is above the lion's head, the chain at the bottom represents the Horcrux, and all the main characters in the film are hidden in the shadows.

It is also very important to decide which artists will be used to portray the classic characters such as Guishan Lianquan, Qi Ling, Gintama, and Treya in the novel. Director Guo Jingming has not yet made a statement on this. According to the filing information, there will be a lot of animation in the film, and the combination of real people and animation may be the final appearance of "Lord's Dynasty".
