CATDOLL: "Nisekoi" becomes the longest-running romance work in Weekly Shonen Jump

The love manga "Nisekoi" drawn by Japanese manga artist Naoshi Komi has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump". The fact that this work can occupy a place in the fiercely competitive "Weekly Shonen Jump" fully proves its popularity. According to statistics recently, "Nisekoi" has become the longest-running love work in "Weekly Shonen Jump".

Previously, the longest love story in Weekly Shonen Jump was Strawberry 100% by Mizuki Kawashita, which had 167 episodes by the time it was completed. Currently, Nisekoi has been serialized to this length, and it is obviously still some time away from completion, so it is no surprise that it has become the number one. Another data may better reflect the problem: Previously, as a classic love comic, I's ranked only 11.7 on the JUMP questionnaire, while Strawberry 100% (12.9) and TOLOVE (14.2) were only ranked in the middle and lower reaches of the magazine's serialized works. But the average ranking of Nisekoi is 7.85, and this level of work can be called a "popular comic". Now with the launch of the second season of the animation, I believe that the old love story will bring us new surprises.

Nisekoi tells the love triangle story between Raku Ichijo, the young master of a gangster group called Shuei-gumi, Chitoge Kirisaki, the daughter of the American gang Beehive, and Kosaki Onodera. Of course, with the increasing number of Raku Ichijo's harem, this is no longer a simple "triangle relationship". In addition, the voice actor lineup led by Koki Uchiyama, Nao Touyama, Kana Hanazawa and others in the animation version has also become one of the highlights.
