The popular manga "Detective Conan" has been launched for 20 years, and its adapted animation is well-known to everyone. Although Conan has all kinds of advanced technical equipment and perfect reasoning, he has solved the truth of each case for us. However, he did not answer the biggest mystery hidden in the story. That's right, it is the hairstyle of the heroine Mao Lilan. When did that pointy horn-like thing grow out? Recently, a media analyzed it. "Detective Conan" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in 1994, and the first volume was released in June of the same year. After reading the first volume, I found that Xiaolan, who first appeared, did not have "horns". Although her hair was straight and black as it is now, there was no bulge on the top of her head, which gave her a very fluffy feeling. The first volume tells the story of how the high school detective Kudo Shinichi was drugged by a man in black and became smaller, and lived in Xiaolan's house under the name of "Edogawa Conan". In the whole process, there was only one place where Xiaolan's hair stood up. That was the scene when Xiaolan and Shinichi were dating in the amusement park. Xiaolan was angry that Shinichi, who came to the date but talked about Sherlock Holmes, stood up her hair. Perhaps this deformed hair is the prototype of the later "horns", but it cannot be said that this has a direct connection with the "horns" that have become a daily phenomenon today. In the second volume, Xiaolan didn't grow "horns" in the daily plot. But as the plot deepens, we find that the originally fluffy hair gradually becomes straight and hard. And it appears to be close to the shape of the current "horns". That scene appears in the plot where Xiaolan is worried that Hirota Masami will be killed and cries for it. The "Hirota Masami" here is the sister of Haibara Ai who appears later. In the second volume, Xiaolan grew a shape similar to "horns" for the first time. It can be said that this scene is also worthy of being recorded in the history of Conan. When we came to the third volume with the question "How did this hairstyle that only appears occasionally evolve into what it is now...", we found that Xiaolan's hair had fewer waves and was almost fixed into an angle. But even so, it was still much softer than the current hairstyle (about 95~100 degrees). The place where the "angle" appeared clearly was when Xiaolan first suspected that Conan was Shinichi (at this time it was 80 degrees). In volume 4, the average angle of the corners is about 70~75 degrees, and the same is true in volume 5. However, when the Conan=Shinichi reasoning is carried out, Xiaolan's corners become sharp 60 degrees. The most extreme case is the client who claims to be "Shinichi's lover" in Volume 7 and Volume 8. Xiaolan was angry because "Shinichi actually has a lover!" and her angle quickly became about 65~70 degrees, and when she was extremely angry, it reached 55 degrees. In addition, the average angle in the fourth volume was 70-75 degrees, and in the ninth volume it was already 65-70 degrees, and in the tenth volume when Kansai high school student Hattori Heiji appeared, it was 60-65 degrees, and it can be seen that the angle is also decreasing. In particular, in the tenth volume, when she compared Heiji's reasoning ability with Shinichi, the angle was 55 degrees, and when she recalled Shinichi, it was 50 degrees. In fact, in the latest eighty-sixth volume, Xiaolan's angle is already 50 degrees.
From the first volume to now, we can find that Xiaolan's horns are getting longer and longer. In other words, not only the angle, but also the area is slowly expanding. And it seems that the horns will also change with Xiaolan's emotional changes. Especially when she thinks of Shinichi, her horns will be particularly sharp, and there are also changes when she is sad, but not as clear as when she is angry. This makes people can't help but complain: "Shinichi! If you don't return to Xiaolan soon, you will be stabbed to death by the slowly growing horns!" Due to the author Gosho Aoyama's hospitalization, Weekly Shonen Sunday had to re-serialize the previous works. Starting from the 34th issue released on July 22, the serialization will be officially resumed, and Conan will also usher in a new plot. So what will happen to Xiaolan's role? Even if this has nothing to do with the main plot, it will continue to attract everyone's attention! = |
