CATDOLL: TV animation "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" will be broadcast in January 2016

The TV animation "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" is scheduled to be broadcast on MBS TV in January 2016. The OAD "Yotaro Arc, Part Two" of "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" will be bundled with the 8th volume of the manga and will be released today (August 7).

"Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" is a manga by Japanese manga artist Kumota Haruko. The TV animation takes place during the Showa and Genroku periods, and mainly describes the complex interpersonal relationships of storytellers (rakugoka). Characters full of personality will appear in this work, including the aloof daimyo Yakumo, Yotaro who insists on becoming his apprentice, and Koharu, the posthumous child of Sukeroku, an ally of Yakumo, who is known as the "unparalleled daimyo".
