CATDOLL: Will the animation of "Black Clover" be decided to become the next "Naruto"?

The comic book "Black Clover" serialized by Yuuki Tabata in Shonen Jump has been decided to be adapted into a TV animation! The work will be produced by Studio Pierrot and is expected to start airing in 2017. It tells the story of a boy who has no magic ability but wants to become a magic emperor.

This work premiered at the Jump Super Anime Tour 2016 event and is a trial animation (OVA animation). In addition, it was voted third in the "Japan National Bookstore Clerks' Recommended Manga 2016 (Japanese: 國家書店員が選んだおすすめコミック2016)" vote. It was voted No. 1 in the "NEXT Manga Award 2016" vote. It was voted No. 12 in the "2015 Comics Worth Reading Ranking".

In a world where magic is everything, Asta, an orphan, was born without magic power, but he still worked hard to train himself. He and his friend Yuno, who is also an orphan, are determined to compete for the throne of the Magic Emperor. In the magic book granting ceremony, Yuno got the legendary four-leaf magic book, while Asta got the five-leaf magic book that can resist magic.
