CATDOLL: Makoto Shinkai's short animation "She and Her Cat" will be adapted into a TV version and will be broadcast on March 4

The short film original animation "She and Her Cat" by Makoto Shinkai announced today that it will be adapted into a TV animation. At the same time, the official also announced the voice actors and production list of this work. "She" in the play will be voiced by Kana Hanazawa, and the voice actor of the black cat will be Shintaro Asanuma, and Sayuri Yahagi will voice "her"'s friend. This work will start broadcasting on March 4th.

The director of this work will be Kazuya Sakamoto, the script will be written by Nagakawa Naruki, the character design and general animation director will be Chimoto Kaijima, who participated in the production of "Black Bullet", and the production will be handed over to LIDENFILMS Kyoto Studio. This company is not involved in many animation productions, but they previously produced the PV of "Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches", and the quality is quite good. I feel that the TV animation of "Her and Her Cat" is really worth looking forward to.

"She and Her Cat" (彼女と彼女の猫-Their standing points-) is an independent animation work created by Japanese director Makoto Shinkai, produced in 1999 and released in 2000. This animation tells the slightly sentimental and indifferent days of "he" and his hostess living under the same roof from the perspective of a male cat.
