In the manga magazine "Weekly BIG COMIC Spirits" released today (January 25), "Tokyo Love Story" launched a new chapter "Tokyo Love Story ~After 25 years~" after 25 years. Nagao Kanji and Akana Rika will appear in this short comic.

"Tokyo Love Story ~After 25 years~" is part of the "Weekly BIG COMIC Spirits" magazine's 35th anniversary celebration. The sequel describes the story of Kanji and Rika's reunion 25 years later because of his daughter's marriage, retelling the feelings 25 years ago. The author Shibamon Fumi said that after receiving the job, I re-read the comics, and the characters came alive in my heart. I saw them laughing and living.

Tokyo Love Story is a manga serialized in Weekly BIG COMIC Spirits from 1988 to 1989. It is one of Shiba Fumio's representative works. It describes the realistic love story of young men and women in the metropolis. In 1991, a live-action TV series was launched, starring Oda Yuji and Suzuki Honami as the male and female protagonists, Kanji and Rika. It set a record of 32.3% of viewership. After being introduced to China, it also caused a craze in China.
