CATDOLL: NICO animation users voted for the most interesting animation goddess in 2016, and the most popular among uncles

2016 is coming to an end. There were some Japanese animations that suddenly rose to fame, and some that were great at first but received mediocre responses or even had bad endings. I feel that the most stable animations in 2016 were the various animation sequels, which all received good results, but many new animations were basically forgotten after watching them, and there really weren't many animations that could be remembered.

There are many selections for 2016 animations. Nico Animation, one of the largest online animation broadcasting platforms in Japan, has also launched a survey on 2016 animations to select the most interesting animations. A total of 306,000 users participated in the survey and selected the most interesting animations in their minds this year. Among them, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" Season 4 won the first place, but the votes were not much different from the second place "Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World" in terms of votes. What is more surprising is that "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World" is the most popular among uncles.

The most interesting animations in 2016:

No. 1: "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" Season 4 7.4%

No. 2: Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World - 7.1%

No. 3: "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World" 5.4%

No. 4: Yuri on Ice 4.0%

No. 5: Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 3.9%

No. 6: "GATE Fantasy Self-Defense Force" 2.9%

No. 7: "Osomatsu" 2.5%

No. 8: "Sound! Euphonium" Season 2 2.4%

No. 9: New Game 2%

No. 10: "Drifting Samurai" 2%

According to the results of age statistics, Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- ranked first among respondents in their teens, 40s, and 50s, which shows that the audiences who like this work are quite diverse. Users in their 20s and 30s prefer JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Season 4, while KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World ranked second among respondents in their 40s and 50s, which shows that when Japanese audiences grow older, they tend to prefer light-hearted and entertaining works.
