CATDOLL: The first episode of the April new show "Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World" is confirmed to be one hour long

The new anime "Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World" which is expected to start broadcasting in April has a one-hour special episode according to recent leaks.

It is quite rare for a light novel adaptation to have an hour-long first episode. Among the recent works that I can remember, only "Fate stay/night" and "End of the World" have this treatment. It can be seen that the animation production team really put in a lot of effort and are very optimistic about their results. For this work that is scheduled to be a semi-annual series, a one-hour first episode is indeed a high treatment.

The work mainly tells the story of a high school student Natsuki Subaru who traveled to another world to help a mysterious girl and was brutally killed. However, when he came to his senses, he found that he had returned to the place where he was when he was first summoned to this different world. "Death return" became the only ability of this young man, and from then on the tragic story of relying on the ability to whip corpses to save the girl officially unfolded.
