CATDOLL: The animation of "Arakita-kun" and the spin-off of "Yowamushi Pedal" will be released together

The anime spin-off of Yowamushi Pedal, Yowamushi Pedal SPARE BIKE, will be released in major theaters in Japan for a limited period of two weeks starting from September 9. At the same time, the four-frame manga Arakita-kun will also be animated as a bonus short film and released at the same time as Yowamushi Pedal SPARE BIKE.

"Arakita-kun" is a four-frame comic about the time when Yasutomo Arakita, the ace assistant of Hakone Academy, was a bad boy. It first appeared in a magazine in September 2014 and has been published irregularly since then. Yasutomo Arakita, who was called "beast" in the main story of "Yowamushi Pedal", will show the audience his unexpected other side in "Arakita-kun". As in the main film, Yasutomo Arakita will continue to be voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino.
