CATDOLL: The style of the new comic book in "Weekly Shonen Jump" has caused heated discussions. Will Misaka Mikoto and Ichigo come to make a cameo appearance?

Shueisha's Shonen Jump magazine holds the "Golden Future Cup" every year to discover promising newcomers from short comics. This year, it will also publish short works by new cartoonists from September. However, one of the comics, "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter", has aroused heated discussions among netizens. It's not because of the good plot, but because the style of this comic is varied, but it looks very familiar. Aren't the male and female protagonists Misaka Mikoto and Ichigo?

The cover page of the battle-themed short comic "The Tale of the Taketori" created by Mr. Matsuda looks very familiar. If you don't look carefully, you might think it is a new work by Mr. Kubo. Especially the coloring method has a strong "Bleach" style. Even the male protagonist looks a bit like Ichigo, and the female protagonist is like a mature version of Misaka Mikoto.

There seems to be a disparity between the protagonist's muscular body and facial style.

One particularly powerful scene has the feel of Kazuhiro Fujita, the author of Ushio and Tora, and the entire work seems to have integrated the characteristics of many cartoonists.

This... looks very much like "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" style.

As expected, it was Ichigo who came to make an appearance (wrong)

It can be said that you can enjoy different painting styles on each page. When not in combat, the Q-version style is used. It feels like the male protagonist looks like someone else again...
