CATDOLL: To promote Sino-Russian exchanges, Chinese-Russian translated animations can receive 800 yuan/minute of funding from the Radio and Television Administration

The International Cooperation Department of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television announced that in order to further promote the development of various activities of the "China-Russia Media Exchange Year" and strengthen cultural exchanges between China and Russia, it will provide a subsidy of 800 yuan per minute for the translation of Chinese-Russian cartoons to film and television organizations that own the copyright of the works (or can coordinate multiple copyright holders), can organize high-level translation work, and have clear regional sales and promotion plans for Russia and Russian-speaking countries.

In addition, in addition to domestic cartoons, the funding project also includes documentaries and films. The cost of the cartoon and documentary translation projects is 480,000 yuan each, and the cost of the film translation project is 450,000 yuan.
