On the September 17th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine (No. 42, 2014), the passionate magic battle manga Fairy Tail serialized by Hiro Mashima has reached its 400th chapter. To commemorate the event, the magazine not only changed the cover to Fairy Tail, but also released information about Hiro Mashima's new work, Star Bitten Satsuki! It has been three years since the last time Mashima published a new work.

According to the introduction, we can learn that "Star Bitten Gaoyue" is a Japanese-style fantasy manga that takes place in a fantasy ancient Japan. It tells the story of a girl "Gaoyue" who is looking for a magic sword and her "master" during their journey. The magazine used phrases such as "a Japanese-style romantic fantasy story intertwined with magic swords" and "it's refreshing to see the strongest protagonist cut the Gordian knot!" to describe this new work.
