CATDOLL: Japanese animation 40th anniversary commemorative film "Sinbad the Flying Princess and the Mysterious Island" will be released in July

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Japanese animation, the animated film "Sinbad: Flying Princess and the Mysterious Island" was decided to be released in Japan in July 2015.

This work is based on Sinbad from "One Thousand and One Nights" which has appeared in many animations. It is produced by the same team that has produced "Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur 2006", "My Neighbor Totoro" and "The Bandit Girl Ronya". It will bring the audience an adventure of the highest level this summer.

Shinpei Miyashita, who worked on Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur 2006, will be the director of "Sinbad: Flying Princess and the Mysterious Island". Hiroyuki Kawasaki, who worked on "The Bandit Girl Ronia", will be in charge of the series composition. Yoshiharu Sato (My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service) will be the character designer and animation supervisor for this work.
