CATDOLL: Love Live singing group BiBi's single "Winter Ga Kureta Sensation" won the Japan Gold Disc Award for the first time

Music record sales certification, which we all know as gold records, platinum records, etc., is a system of certification for music records that have shipped or sold a certain number of copies. The threshold standards vary depending on the type (album, single or music video) and the country/region. The record sales certification of most countries is a modification of the certification system of the Recording Industry Association of America, and each category is named after precious materials.

From this, we can see that the gold record, platinum record and other certifications are a great affirmation of the album/single. The Japanese record market is different from the United States and other regions. It is divided into three types: "gold record", "platinum record" and "million-level record" (ミリオン). The sales levels are 200,000 copies, 400,000 copies and 1 million copies respectively. Then, BiBi's single "冬がくれた予感" which was rated as a "gold record" has sold more than 200,000 copies.
