However, when looking at domestic animation, there is rarely an animation wave. Compared with Chinese animation, American animation and Japanese animation seem to be more popular in my country. The prospects for domestic animation are bleak, so what should domestic animation do?

Need to show its own advantages. When talking about American animation, the first thing that comes to mind is high technology. Superb animation stunts have become the characteristics of American animation, which is an advantage that other countries' animations cannot match. Cool animation stunts such as "Transformers", "Kung Fu Panda" and "Big Hero 6" make us feel realistic and shocking. For Japanese animation, Japan has a national comic atmosphere. Japan's highly developed Japanese comics have become a genre with unique style and huge influence in the world's comics. Animation based on comics has the advantage of cultural environment, which is also unmatched by others.

With the emergence of some domestic animations such as "Pig Man", "High-speed Rail Man" and "Kuiba", domestic animation seems to be following the footsteps of foreign animation. However, due to the immaturity of animation special effects and the lack of anime cultural environment like Japan, domestic animation is not only not so successful but also loses its roots and becomes just a model. Looking back at domestic animation, some classic animations such as "Havoc in Heaven", "The Lotus Lantern" and "Nezha Conquers the Dragon King" have been highly praised on the international stage.

Chinese traditional culture is a treasure of China. The cultural heritage of thousands of years is a unique advantage of my country that cannot be matched by other countries. Domestic animation needs to show an artistic style with unique Chinese characteristics and the unique charm of Chinese animation art. Disney's animation "Mulan" uses Mulan, a character in Chinese traditional culture, which also shows the value of Chinese traditional culture.

There needs to be elements of the times. Animation should also keep up with the development of the times. Watching American animations, although they all show heroism, "Big Hero 6" is different from previous animations such as "Batman" and "Spider-Man". In the past, the protagonists were heroes, but they were alone. They used superpowers or super weapons to fight criminals and save others, but these heroes were often difficult for ordinary people to approach and could only be watched from a distance; while "Big Hero 6" also shows heroism, but it is a group rather than an individual. At the same time, the cute appearance and kind character of "Baymax" in the animation are common people in life, so it is easy for the audience to approach. Japanese anime shows popular images such as beautiful girls and boys. The times are developing, and animation must also develop. Animation that stands still cannot adapt to the trend of the times. Therefore, our country's animation cannot remain unchanged and complacent, but should have elements of the times and develop with the times.

Innovation is needed. American animation has different forms of expression under one theme, and each of the nine sons of the dragon has different themes; Japanese animation has different themes, such as love, campus, passion, adventure, sports, magic, etc., and the word innovation fully reflects the various aspects of life. In contrast, my country seems to prefer reality rather than imagination. The audience of animation is basically children. Innovation is a word that is not limited to any time or place.
