CATDOLL: Popular actress Nakagawa Shoko voices a cat in "Sailor Moon Crystal"

Based on the classic manga by Naoko Takeuchi, "Sailor Moon Crystal" is a new Japanese animation work released in the "Sailor Moon series" after nearly 17 years, as part of the plan to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the series. Currently, new voice actors are being added to the second season, and Shoko Nakagawa will play Diana, the daughter of the black cat Luna and the white cat Artemis.

Diana will be very active in the second season "Black Moon". Now "Black Moon" has been confirmed to be broadcast on the video site "NICONICO Animation" at 7 pm on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Diana will officially appear in the 20th episode on April 18.

Sailor Moon fan Nakagawa Shoko said: "I have a cat named 'Luna' myself, and I am very happy to play Diana, such an extremely cute kitten."

In addition, "Black Moon" will not only be broadcast online, but will also be broadcast on TV stations such as TOKYO MX and BS11 from July. Today (April 1), TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting has already started the first season warm-up.

- Please tell us about your feelings when you were cast as Diana.

Shoko Nakagawa: It was a huge shock to me and I still haven’t recovered from it.

I have been inspired by Sailor Moon countless times in my life, and even now I still think about Sailor Moon once a day.

I myself have a cat named Luna, and I am very happy to be able to play Diana, such an extremely cute kitten.

I am honored and happy to be able to participate in the world-famous "Sailor Moon" and breathe new life into Diana.

——What are your thoughts after the actual recording?

Nakagawa Shoko: I am very happy and excited. What kind of connection will Diana have with "Chibi Rabbit"? It seems that I can see many wonderful lives. In addition, I will try my best not to destroy Diana's original image.

I wanted to try something with my own unique style, and play Diana, who adorably protects Chibi-Usagi.
