CATDOLL: Miori Takimoto joins the voice cast of the animated film "The Genius Idiot"

Yesterday was the 80th birthday of Fujio Akatsuka, the manga artist who created such famous works as "Osomatsu", "Mysterious Ak", and "Tenko Taro". To commemorate Fujio Akatsuka's birthday, Toei specially produced a theatrical animation called "The Genius Idiot: Resurrection of the Flanders Dog", which is an adaptation of Fujio Akatsuka's masterpiece "The Genius Idiot". This highly anticipated theatrical version of "The Genius Idiot: Resurrection of the Flanders Dog" will be released throughout Japan from May 23. Recently, the official announced the news about the voice actor lineup of this work, and Japanese actress Miori Takimoto announced that she will join the dubbing of this work.

This theatrical version combines Fujio Akatsuka's manga "The Genius Fool" and the classic work "A Dog of Flanders", telling the story of the characters in the latter being resurrected in modern society. Among them, actress Miori Takimoto is dubbing a theatrical animation for the second time. She previously voiced the heroine Nahoko Satomi in Hayao Miyazaki's work "The Wind Rises", and this time she voiced the character of Neru who awakened in modern times. In this regard, she said: "I have relatively little experience as a voice actor, and I am very happy to have this opportunity and challenge a work full of comedy style. I really didn't expect that Neru would let me dub it, I am very grateful." At the same time, she also said with full fighting spirit: "I want everyone to see a surprising Neru that has never been seen before."

The voice actor for Sha Peng's father is FROGMAN, who is the director and scriptwriter of this work. He feels a little uneasy about challenging a theater version with a different style from his previous works, but he still said: "The adults around me are doing their best to encourage me, so I have to work hard too!"

Dante, the leader of the Black Organization, is played by the famous actor Murai. When talking about the original author Fujio Akatsuka, Murai said: "Mr. Fujio Akatsuka is a genius.
