The commemorative art book specially launched to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the debut of Japanese illustrator Kuroboshi Kohaku went on sale yesterday. This commemorative art book is divided into two volumes. The first volume "Kuroboshi Kohaku Art Book Noir" was launched yesterday on April 10, and the second volume "Kuroboshi Kohaku Art Book Rouge" will meet you on June 10. GRANADA (Black Star Red and White), whose real name is Takeshi Iizuka, is a Japanese painter. His more well-known works include "Kino's Journey". Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan in 1974, he started fan activities while studying at university and debuted as a freelance illustrator in 1995. He likes cats and is interested in models and games. He mainly works on novel covers, illustrations, and character settings for games. He also works on game character design under the name "Takeshi Iizuka". He attracted attention for his character settings in the game "Summon Night" series, and became a representative illustrator in the first half of the 2000s for his illustrations for the novel "Kino's Journey". He likes to use brown, gray and yellow colors. Not only are his drawings of boys and girls very popular, but he can also draw well regardless of gender, age or young. When drawing children, he often draws chubby cheeks, which is his characteristic. The coloring of the light mixed with simple and elegant colors is also very beautiful.
